RpTheHotrod
AIGHT!!! I am updating my jka staff site, but I have run across a problem. Someone was working on the layout while I did the content. Problem is, I want music to be playing while people view this webpage. The way the person made the layout, when you click vs duals or other buttons, it loads a whole new page completely. Would somewhere here be able to change the index where it plays music and when clicking buttons, it sort of loads the content in a sort of huge iframe? IE...it's like the music is on index.htm and is always playing, and when you click the links they open in a large frame...as if there wasn't even a frame. Either that, or just simply SOME WAY to get music to play while they are browsing the site? Also, the title bars that name each move...the bottom appears to get cut off. Anyone able to fix this? http://include.dls-clan.net/ The song it plays is song2.mp3 in the same directory as the .htm files. Overall, I'm asking if anyone could do this for me. Make an index page but make it appear like there isn't (ie it's at the very bottom). Put the music on the index page. This way, no matter where they go, the index is always views so the song continues to play. The frame would be the main website itself. The default page it would show is the current index.htm file. SO, when you visit webpage...you see the staff ownage thing. Music is playing. You click the staff ownage and then you see BASICS.htm while music is still going. Then you can go to staff duals single and basics all you want and the music is still playing.
jon_hill987
I know this isn't help but it is usefull(ish) advice, I hate websites with music on. i often listen to music using my computer while browsing the internet. If a site has its own music it clashes with whatever I had on. and as there is (i think) no way of turning of sound in firefox i just browse away. rant over, sorry I couldn't actualy help. GRRRRR! TALKING OF WHICH, THAT F***ING CRAZY FROG! I HATE IT! ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH! I WAS QUITE HAPPY WITH MY MUSIC WHEN THE F***ING THING CUT IN! ARRRRRGGGGHHHH! RoxStar
You could have a seperate iframe the whole time. From the very beginning, the music is playing, while the content is in the other larger frame. You could even make this frame tiny, or invisible, if invisible is possible. Note that this is your into page.
RpTheHotrod
That is very good, sam, but the problem is this... If I click any links, the music would stop. I'm trying to get it to play no matter where you go on the site. I did a throw-together job so far to get the job done. Can you improve? http://include.dls-clan.net
Pad
Things you can do to keep your music playing is either make an indexpage with content in an iframe or two frames with one having the music. But as for my opinion, I agree with Jon. I´d rather have a website without music than one with.
RpTheHotrod
This is why you always should make an option to stop the music.
coupes.
I think you should have an option to start the music instead of stopping it... I usually just leave a website with music on it and try to find whatever I'm looking for elsewhere.
