Well, you can deny it yourself as well, adventure games died away when the king of adventure games lost it's touch. People like seeing something new on the market, but no company really wants to get back into adventure games because they are afraid of being the only one making them. TK-8252
As usual, ET speaks the truth. Originally posted by legowar but no company really wants to get back into adventure games because they are afraid of being the only one making them That is the complete opposite of how supply and demand works. If only one company was making adventure games, and there was a demand for those kinds of games, everyone would be buying from that company. There'd be no competition, and that's financial paradise for a business. But if the demand for adventure games was that high, there'd be numerous companies making them. Not just one. When there's a demand for a product, there's a supply of it. Since there's no supply of adventure games, there must not be that much of a demand. That's how supply and demand works.
