Phnx
I've searched the forum and found this: Using Kotor Tool, open: BIFS | 2da.bif | 2D Array | creaturespeed.2da In the very first row, PC_Movement, you can modify the walkrate and runrate. When you happy with the values, type a Control-s or use the menu to save as a "2DA v2.b" file (not XML). Save the file in the override folder in your SW:KotOR application folder. These new settings will be used in place of the built-in defaults. but it doesn't work. Any other ideas???

Det. Bart Lasiter
Try editing the .utc and setting the "Movement Speed" combo box to "Very_Fast" or something. To give you an idea of that, In the final battle with Malak on the Star Forge his movement speed is set to "Very_Fast".
Phnx
Thanks. I wanted to make the walking speed more slow. I think the characters look kinda weird like walking ducks.

If (like me) you're more bothered by the speed of the characters walk animation when you hold down the walk-key rather than the actual movement speed, this can be changed in the appearance.2da file. Find the row defining the appearance of your character and look in the "driveanimwalk" column. This value is some kind of speed factor for the walk animation, where higher values makes the animation play slower. I've found that 2.6 is a good value (rather than the original 1.6) for female characters which makes the characters walk look almost normal rather than hyperactive. (Don't know a suitable value for male characters since I haven't played as one yet.)
