Wait, I thought Anakin's scar was never explained? He didn't get it in the duel with Ventress in Season 2, and in Season 3 he just "comes home" and Padme notices his scar and touches it tenderly. So it's just assumed he got it in the war somehow, right?

Or was there ANOTHER story explaining it? I watched the Clone Wars Season 3 back in May after seeing ROTS, so maybe I'm forgetting something but I don't think it was every truly explained. He just suddenly had it.

They must have had another battle offscreen then. I hear

That despite the fact that Season 2 clearly shows Ventress falling to her death in a 'bottomless canyon' I hear they've resurrected her in some other piece of prequel era EU stuff and that she basically escapes and her true fate is unknown. So perhaps they fought again and she gashed him with her stylish nails when he wasn't looking. I think that's a really lame deal, worse than resurrecting Boba Fett, because she doesn't appear in Season 3 or ROTS, and she's never mentioned in the OT, so for all intents and purposes she's dead. If nothing else you'd think Dooku/Sideous would have kept tabs on her and had her killed along with the rest of the Jedi.

I'll check again when I have time (Season 3 is sitting around here someplace) but I don't recall him having the scar until Season 3. All of a sudden he just has it.

They had to give it to him because of ROTS (and I don't think the CW staff was privy to all that Lucas had in store when they were creating the first 2 seasons), but Lucas expressed the desire that it remain unexplained, that it was just to show that a lot of stuff happened in the war. The DVD release dates should be listed on StarWars.com and digitalbits.com if they are official. Volume 1 with Seasons 1 & 2 has been out for awhile. Don't know when Season 3 will be out, but feel free to check. In the meantime you can download them for free (legally of course) from various places.

To clear up the how Anakin got the scare, was done in the comic series Star Wars Republic 71 I believe. Obi-wan took Quinlan Vos to the comic to meet with them for his recent actions that thought he was going to the darkside on his quest to find the 2nd Sith. While they are with the council Anakin gets a hologram message from Padme and then Asajj uses the force to take the hologram from him. She starts making him angry tell him that she would killed her and all that. So a battle starts and Anakin is really tapping into the darkside. Over all Asajj hits Anakin with her saber and really ticked him off. Used the force to put her in several power cords and let her go off a platform, falling down into coruscant. Later in the Obsession Comics we find out that Asajj was still alive, and was on life support and Obiwan is Obsessed to find her. The jedi find her during a hunt to find Grievous, and pretty much ends with Dooku ordering a magna guard to kill Asajj with a clone rifle. However she does not die. She makes all those around her think she is dead until she is on a shuttle to coruscant, where she wakes up and gets the pilot to take her far away from the war, because she was tired of it and wanted to be away from it far as possible. So I hope that helps. The Republic Comics and Obsession comics are pretty good comics that does a good job linking to the movies.

I would Imagine that the Clone Wars Volume 2 would come out before RotS goes to DVD. Maybe even a Nov. 1st release, but I kinda doubt it since there is two bid releases that day. But im sure people would buy it no matter what. And for the BF2 DVD special demo, would probally be X-Box only, like they did last year with the Old Trilogy DVD box set. It might would if you have a X-Box Emulator on your PC, but im not sure that they really make any. But I do suggest if you have the BF demo on the dvd, is to look at the files on the DVD in windows explorer, since they will probally be in the same format.
