riceplant Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 How can I make it so the player doesn't drown in water? Some Jedi masters are able to hold their breath for hours, even days. 30 seconds just isn't the same. (I would prefer if non-jedi still drown as normal, if this is possible)

wedge2211 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Yeah, looks like nobody knows. There was a really old JO mod that totally turned off drowning, but I think it's a one-extreme-or-the-other coding issue.

You know, holding your breath or using some invention to allow rather normal breathing aren't the same things. If you hold your breath, your body will start to suffer from the lack of oxygen, because no fresh oxygen is going to replace the carbon dioxide produced by the body. And that happens even faster if you do something, like dive to an underground city. Of course any Jedi can hold his breath indefinitely. Too bad after a certain period of time he's doing it as a corpse - but indefinitely for sure.
