Drowning in water

How can I make it so the player doesn't drown in water?

Some Jedi masters are able to hold their breath for hours, even days.

30 seconds just isn't the same.

 

(I would prefer if non-jedi still drown as normal, if this is possible)

OK, it's been a week and still no responce. Does this mean no-one knows if this can be done or not? Or should I ask in the coding forum about it, if drowning is hard-coded in?

Yeah, looks like nobody knows. There was a really old JO mod that totally turned off drowning, but I think it's a one-extreme-or-the-other coding issue.

In the Prequels the Jedi just use James Bond style rebreathers.

 

Why couldn't a non-Jedi use one?

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find this mod? And yeah, why do they use rebreathers? They held their breath for the dioxis stuff.

You know, holding your breath or using some invention to allow rather normal breathing aren't the same things. If you hold your breath, your body will start to suffer from the lack of oxygen, because no fresh oxygen is going to replace the carbon dioxide produced by the body. And that happens even faster if you do something, like dive to an underground city.

 

Of course any Jedi can hold his breath indefinitely. Too bad after a certain period of time he's doing it as a corpse - but indefinitely for sure.

Check PCGM for "Hydroball." It was a JO mod.
