I do not know if there is a limit BUT most modders keep their poly count as low as possible due to lag down on lower end systems, and sometimes on higher end ones if everyone in your party has a high poly count weapon equipped. My second favorite lightsaber modder period "Hefe" got jibbed for high poly counts from what I remember when he released a couple of his lightsaber models. They were so realistic (I'm guessing due to poly count making more detail possible) you literally couldn't tell the difference between his saber and the real one in the movies So I don't know if there is a limit but I think Mav kept my lightsaber hilt he did for me around 1450.
