Open portraits.2da, find row 57, next look at column "appearancenumber" to get the number 638, next copy that number into the columns appearance_s and appearace_l and finally look at the forpc column and change the 0 to 1. Thats it, save the 2da to override and start a new game. :)

The reason you copy the first appearance number into the _s and _l columns is so that the game knows which appearance to use for the guardian and consolar classes. And you change the forpc to 1 so that the game knows that character should be available at the chargen screen.

This is pure speculation on my part since I haven't tested it, but it's possible that the game won't resolve the &638 and &454 references that indicate switching between appearancetype 454 (full model with hooded outfit used when wearing clothes) and appearancetype 638 (body model used for armors, robes and in underwear) when a PC uses the appearancetype.

The game switches appearance types for the Handmaiden automatically depending on what she wears.

You could try to make a copy of row 638 and fill in a normal body model for clothes in the modelb/texb columns instead, removing the references, and use that appearance type for the PC version of the Handmaiden.

Do you have Holowan Plugin? :D It has 2 versions of HandMaiden as a selectable exile head ;) One normal one with pink hair which looks really nice :D

If nothing else I'd check out to see how they did it and made it show up ;) (not sure though of it's entries in those particular 2da files in HP though)
