I'm working on a mod that seperates Atton from his vest and Mira from her jacket (being that they have two sets of clothing) Except I'm stuck using Gmax. I've imported the model but I have no idea what I'm doing. What I need to do is remove the sections of the vest and replace them with a mesh to fill it in. Can someone spare a hand with this? Thanks. svösh Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 Actually Gsccc that’s not true we can Jolly boots what you need is GOOD 3d experience it’s one thing to move verts and another to re-model and re-weight…. It’s not something kotor specific . It’s general 3d character design and rigging and animation know-how, and not exactly something you can do if you don’t have a firm understanding of 3d. svösh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheOssusKeeper Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 you may be able to shrink down all the extruding parts and just reskin it... i tried something similar with Mira's saddle bags and came real close to not even having them there, if you delete anything, it will cause transparent spot(s) in the skin when you look at it in the game... unless you can figure out a way to add verts for those particular spots...
