This mod has been sitting on my desktop for almost a month now. I finally decided to finish it up by making portraits and finishing the installer. I had actually planned on doing some vert changes on the head model, but it got complicated and I decided this wasn't the mod to do that on. So I'll save that for a futute mod... Anyways, I hope everybody likes the mod! Here's the readme:

Description:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mod adds a new playable character to TSL. The head is based on Zherron, the Khoonda militia leader. I have reskinned the head to make him appear younger, as well as made four Dark Side transitions from scratch. I have tried to make his fall to the Dark Side realistic, and I tried to stay away from the living undead DS transitions. There are 5 custom portraits included (1 normal, 4 DS).

List of Files:

Configuration Files:

appearance.2da - describes the appearance of the new PC

heads.2da - includes the new PC in the game

portraits.2da - includes the new portraits for the PC

DMHC01.tga - head texture

DMHC01d1.tga - DS transition 1 texture

DMHC01d2.tga - DS transition 2 texture

DMHC01d3.tga - DS transition 3 texture

DMHC01d4.tga - DS transition 4 texture

DMHC01.mdl - model file

DMHC01.mdx - model file

DMpo_HC01.tga - portrait file

DMpo_HC01d1.tga - portrait file

DMpo_HC01d2.tga - portrait file

DMpo_HC01d3.tga - portrait file

DMpo_HC01d4.tga - portrait file

Installation:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.If you haven't done so already, create a folder named "override" (without

quotes) in your KotOR II directory.

NOTE: this mod uses itemcreate.2da and itemcreatemira.2da files. If you are

already using such files, please read the disclaimer below. It's VERY

important that your .2da files aren't located within a sub-folder of your

override directory!

***************************************************************************

IMPORTANT NOTE! The installer will NOT look for existing files within

sub-folders of the Override folder, just in the Override folder itself. If

you have modified versions of any of the above listed files sitting in

sub-folders, put them into into the main Override folder before running the

Installer.

***************************************************************************

2. Next, run the installer application named "Install New PC-Reskinned Zherron.exe" that came with this mod. This will update the necessary game

files and install the Mod into your game. Make sure that there is a folder

named "tslpatchdata" present in the same folder the Installer application

is. This folder contains essential data files the installer needs.

NOTE: You have to run this installer for this mod to work. Simply copying

the files from TSLpatchdata doesn't work!

Uninstall:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simply remove all files included in this mod from your override directory.

Known Issues:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are currently no known issues or problems with this mod. If you do

encounter any issues or problems, please alert me via the e-mail above. I

will try to fix them the best I can.

I think that you need to put some color into his lightside face. It looks kinda darkside.

Yeah, I guess that is one thing I didn't edit too much. I changed his hair and eyes for the lightside head, but didn't do anything about his pale skin. Oh well, I still think he looks good.

Thanks for the compliments GK and swgbking.

How about making him a "really light side version" that's got him all rosey cheeked and then the standard one (the way you have it now) could be the "normal/lightside" face???

Not sure if you can have a (just say) 100% lightside face or not but it would be worth a shot if you could.

Regardless still looks good :D

Just my 2 cents :D

I wish this was possible, so I could make the default portrait for the "grey" Exile, and then make some changes for a super-lightside face. But theres no way to get it to show up in game.

So the extra slot that we at first didn't utilize was a dark side transition??? Figures  hee hee hee

It's been a few months since I played with heads so I was a bit fuzzy on that. I never utilized it I know for HeAdShOp(s)

It's a shame we can't "specify" at what stage a head entry comes into play accounting for DS/LS points and such.

Anywho don't wanna hiijack ya thread so I'll hush yappin' ;)

This is one of my fav's for male character head looks though and I'm gonna add this one to my collection :D
