Tysyacha
How can I modify the bodies of Kreia and Visas Marr so that they actually look like they're wearing the armor I've put on them? Even if I put a Dark Jedi Master robe on Kreia, she doesn't look like she has one on. Same with Visas, but I made my PC model look like Visas anyway. So I want to modify the NPC Visas a bit. Also, how do you play the game with the cutscenes? Sincerely, Tysyacha
tk102
Tysycha: For modifying the body meshes of models, take a deep breath and then read svösh's body mesh editing tutorial in the Skinning and Modeling tutorial forum. Hopefully that will point you in the right direction. As for how to "play the game with the cutscenes"... hmm for some reason I think you mean content that has been cut, not cutscenes per se. Cutscenes are simply the little movie-like interludes in the game where action or dialog occurs without your involvement. If that's what you meant, I think you'll have to be more specific or take a look at what the TSL Restoration Project Team has been up to. Or do you mean how do you make new cutscenes? oldflash
I meant the content that has been cut. You don't. Those parts was cut because was not finish on time. I have found in biff's a table whith a lot of components for upgrading swoopbyke and in TSL you don't even have a swoopbyke. But, with all this, I have walk on droid factory (via warp cheatcode) after install some sort of mod find-it in PCGM.

TK I think they want to have it so the different types of armour appear on Visas and Kreia like when your PC character changes robes, armour etc For this you will need to modify the appearance.2da with Fred Tetras Kotor Tool ( http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=121572 ) extract the appearance.2da file (or open up one from another mod you may have installed that uses it) go to npc_kreia_gimped (i think that is what she is named...) and npc_visas (again i think that is what they are named, someone will point out the real names I am sure ) then modify the different bodyvariences and texture types to the same as what your pc characters have so they can wear the different armour and robes. Seeing I havent got TSL installed at the moment someone else will have to you the exact names for Visas and Kreia but you should hopefully be able to find them by looking up the npc_ parts. stoffe
Seeing I havent got TSL installed at the moment someone else will have to you the exact names for Visas and Kreia but you should hopefully be able to find them by looking up the npc_ parts. Visas (label Party_NPC_Visas) is line 457 in appearance.2da. In order to make her use the normal armor and robe models when she equips such outfits, you'll have to make these changes the following columns for her row: Column Change value to What it affects ------- --------------- --------------- modelc = PFBCM Defense 4 armor model (light) texc = PFBC Defense 4 armor textures (light) modeld = PFBDM Defense 5 armor model (light) texd = PFBD Defense 5 armor textures (light) modele = PFBEM Defense 6 armor model (medium) texe = PFBE Defense 6 armor textures (medium) modelf = PFBFM Defense 7 armor model (medium) texf = PFBF Defense 7 armor textures (medium) modelg = PFBGM Defense 8 armor model (heavy) texg = PFBG Defense 8 armor textures (heavy) modelh = PFBHM Defense 9 armor model (heavy) texh = PFBH Defense 9 armor texture (heavy) modeli = PFBIM Jedi Robe Model texi = PFBI Jedi Robe textures modelk = PFBKM Jumpsuit armor model texk = PFBK Jumpsuit armor texture modelm = PFBMM "Skirted" armor model (Zeison etc) texm = PFBM "Skirted" armor texture modeln = PFBNM Jedi Master Robe model (jackboots etc) texn = PFBN Jedi Master Robe textures Some outfits may look a bit odd however since the collar part of her normal leather dress is part of her head and not the dress itself. So she'll have a gray collar no matter what she wears. As for Kreia it's not quite as simple. Unlike Visas she uses a full model and not a model with a separate body and head parts. If you change Kreia's appearance she will be headless since there is no "stand-alone" head for her.
