J3d1W4rr10r
How is it done? I seen in the USM that it can be done but since mdlops only replaces the hilt itself, how do I accomplish it for my hilt? I'm making Dooku's hilt, more of a Higher Poly (under 2,000) for a future project and have racked my brain trying to figure out how they did it. If anybody could shed some light on this I would very much appreciate it.
TheProphet
Download mdlops and look at the replacer tutorial. That will tell you what you need to know step by step.

Ok, I've had mdlops read it and made an attempt at how I thought it would be, which I figured it meant I had make the blades children of the hilt itself, it really doesn't say much if anything on the subject in MDLops readme's/tuts. I checked the original hilt model and made sure I had the same number of children for my hilt (4) and I get this: http://home.comcast.net/~xwarr1orx/doubledooku.jpg I started off using the regular sith blade, but tried some other original models to see if there was anything different. The blue blade shows all the way around, even though I replace the planes in mdlops it seems like they original is always there, the Red blade disapears in 2 views, am I missing something?. If anybody could point me in the right direction, I'd very much appreciate it.
