Tyrion Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 It's the new album from Paul McCartney. I'm listening to it right now...and it isn't bad. Paul McCartney sounds less like a 60 years old Paul, and more like the Beatles-era Paul except an octave lower. Pretty nice. The songs themselves are fairly good. They all sound like they are a blend of country, folk, and rock. Pretty nice combination, if I say so. Although to add to the impression that Paul is full of himself, nearly every instrument is played by McCartney himself. For instance, in Too Much Rain he plays a piano, stratocaster, acoustic, twelve string guitar, bass, epiphone casino guitar, autoharp, drums, and maracas. I can only assume that it wasn't all in one take... I like the album as a whole, to tell the truth. Wouldn't be a bad buy if you like Paul McCartney.
Mike Windu Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I await Paul McCartney's rap album. I don't really listen to the Beatles much. I don't know what Paul played in the band. *shrug* But at least it's good music from what I've heard.
