JeeMonkey Posted September 21, 2005 Share Posted September 21, 2005 Hey yall, I made this really cool pillar into a model and im using a lot of them in one room and they really really lower the fps cause they create too many portals in the map. Besides remaking the model out of patches, how can I prevent the map from creating so many portals because of this pillar? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

riceplant Posted September 22, 2005 Share Posted September 22, 2005 Sounds to me like your problem is actually that you have too many triangles being drawn. Is your pillar particularly complex?
