That's absolutely correct (After the quote edit. Before the edit... I can only wish. ) I didn't know what I was getting in to at the time. And the game wasn't cheap, either.

Well, alot of Star Wars is cheesy, but some parts of Star Wars is more cheesy than others.

 

Saying we can't criticize bad parts of the Prequels because there are "bad parts" in the OT is flawed logic. The OT need not be perfect in order for us to criticize or nitpick Episode III (or II, or I, or the entire Prequel Trilogy, or the EU, or one part of the EU, or a game, etc.).

 

There's all kinds of criteria for evaluating these things, including of course the all powerful "personal preference and taste."

 

And just for a bonus glimpse into my own personal viewpoint:

 

Did the OT have a "Jar Jar Binks"?

 

Did anyone in the OT step in a pile of crap and say "Icky poo"?

 

Do anyone get a fart in their face and go "Pee-yewsah"?

A valid point. But Lucas learned his lesson, and included less of him in Ep. II and III. Not trying to defend the PT no matter what, but...

 

You are correct. It's all cheesy. But so is Indy Jones, if you look at it, and a bunch of movies. The only thing that isn't cheesy is real life. And we are out of tune with that, I promise.
