TiE23
First review for a new generation game, ever. 1UP.com has somehow gotten their hands on the console and the game and has reviewed it, and they really like it. "Microsoft brings us automotive perfection on a disc." Score: 10/10 (Genius) Linky: http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3145713&did=1 I find it very cool. And its got HDR! Edit: Some video of the game (even the low res video of it, it looks cool) and some other stuff on the X360. http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3145585&did=1 Edit 2: IGN has some more reviews: http://xbox360.ign.com/
BongoBob
God the game looks gorgeous
Sabretooth
I could have sworn some of those screenshots were real-life photos... Anyways, looks good. We'll see how the next generation fares, though.
toms
Gotta say that of the titles launched and reviewed so far, only this one looks like a true classic... and even then it seems like more of an evolution from the previous (excellent) versions than anything new. The real-time environment mapping is awesome though. And I have high hopes for perfectd dark zero. Otherwise, meh..
Boba Rhett
I'm somewhat weary of the PGR series. I didn't really like the first one. Am I disturbed or justified in not liking it? I guess it could just be that I've never been a huge fan of racing games in general.
toms
I'm somewhat weary of the PGR series. I didn't really like the first one. Am I disturbed or justified in not liking it? I guess it could just be that I've never been a huge fan of racing games in general. I skipped 1 and went straight to 2. I thought it was a very good, nicely polished racing game. I'm not entirely sure it (and therefore its sequel) deserved quite the ammount of praise it got. But there is certainly nothing wrong with it. BongoBob
Personally, I've always loved the idea of the whole Tony Hawk-Esque Style points thing. *curses Microsoft for halfing their units for the us
MTV2
Gran Turismo is still better...
toms
I figured the Kudos points would be a much bigger part of the game.
TiE23
I played PGR2 a lot, it was the only game I played that much on Xbox Live. But I got Forza Motorsport and sold it. So now I only have Burnout Revenge, Forza Motorsport, and RalliSport Challenge 2 for racing games.
