PIo Koon
Alright, so here's what's up I've been trying to find a perfect engine for my mod, and I'm starting to think Battlefront II is where I need it. I've played Battlefront I but never really got into the modding community. I'm not sure how modable Battlefront II is, but it seems like it's good enough My mod is called Brace for Impact...Basically, It could be considered a Halo'ish, Star Wars'ish type mod...I'm wanting to have ground combat as well as space combat, with different sorts of game types and attack/defend styles. There are two sides, a human side, and an alien side. I dont want to go into too much detail about the mod, because I dont have the time, and I don't want to just yet Here are just some samples of some models I've already made while waiting. Excuse the differences in all the renders, they were all done at different times Soldier http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/ac76d66a.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/Soldier/4.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/Soldier/3.jpg Different Class Head Variants http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/432806d2.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/d67b1cbc.jpg Fighter http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/HumanLFighter1.jpg Bomber http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/1a3706a7.jpg Dropship http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/HumanDrop1.jpg VTOL http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/SpartnII/622652fd.jpg All of these (except the helmet variations) were made in mind for different engines...I'm going to be tweaking some things (Probly won't even use the VTOL, not sure if it would really work out in Battlefront II) I personally can model, UVWmap, Texture (though my modeling skills are far superior to my texturing) and I can rig models (I cant animate)...I also have a coder who was very good at editing Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 (somewhat)...I need modelers and texture artists, as well as any other positions Do not think just by looking at what I've done already that this mod is just a model pack, I want to do more than just replace stuff. I have ideas for special game types, as well as improving combat and gameplay in general. Hopefully when I get more time ill be able to reply with more info about the mod and other stuff...let me know what you think though

REDJOHNNYMIKE
Well, I'm only a noobodder over at SWK and this is the first I've looked into BFII modding, but from a creative standpoint I'd have to say I like the style (I'm assuming those are for the humans). I don't know if you can do faces, but I'd suggest a few (at least for land combat) with no helmet ala gears of war. The reason for the suggestion is that while all your helmets are excellent, they seem a little too similar, but in order from L to R I'd say that 2 and 3 are the best, then 1, then 5, and last 4 it just seems a little tall (maybe if you added something on the side. I really can't do much, but if you need any creative advice the PMs always open:) I wish you luck and mucho blessings:D err, what kinds of gameplay types are we talking about here, that's one thing I'm already feeling a need for? edit: I just realized, what you need is a female model (that's how you get downloads:lol: ) for a commando, sniper, or some kind of stealth class (maybe with similar plating, but lighter clothing underneath, with some sort of nightvision glasses instead of a helmet) Another thing to consider would be to make a slight resize for larger heavy weapon specialists. I hope that helps more than hurts:)
