Zhoken
Hi all, Is it possible to import TSL combat animations to KOTOR? the animations.2da and combatanimations.2da from TSL "seem" to be compatible with KOTOR. No crashes, only I cannot find the actual animation files. So the PC just stands there when attacking. I'd like to give kotor another run but I'd hate to be limited to the old animations (you know the same 3 over and over again) I am fairly adept in modding kotor so dont shy away from giving an in depth response. (if it's even possible to do what I am asking) Thanks!! -Zhoken.
Alkonium
Even if it were possible, we couldn't do it, since that is porting, which is illegal.
The Doctor
It could be done I suppose, but the animations are hardcoded into the game, are they not? And, as Alkonium said, porting heads, animations, etc. is illegal.
Zhoken
Really? I did not know. I figured that being the same franchise it wouldnt be a problem. Oh well... Question: what about the characters that are packaged into the game files (like gadon thek) but that arent actually in the game, would it be a no no to say make a reskin of one of em? (just out of curiousity)
The Doctor
If their skins and models are in the game archives, then it's OK. It's not porting.
