RoxStar
I've heard mixed reviews concerning the tiny PS2, and I was thinking of investing in one. This is designed with on-the-road purposes in mind, so does anyone have anything good/bad to say about it?
Acrylic
I have both. I really like the slim one the best. It's so small, and I for some reason, I think that it i s faster than the old PS2. The only thing the old one is good for is the HDD. Totally recommended.
TiE23
If you want a PS2, why would you want to get the old fat one anyway?
Lynk Former
I like the PS2 Slim's... they're like a preview to the Revolution, cept not. lol
swphreak
I've had my PS2 Slim for about a year now and it's still working flawlessly. I don't know what other people are talking about when they mention overheating, no such problems for me. AC: I would think the new one would be somewhat faster due to the new hardware. How old is the PS2 Fat?
Lynk Former
The PS2 Slim is very good and well made considering Sony's track record. Even I give it a thumbs up XD lol
MarcusLeCoy
I have the slim one, and it's very good. Reccomended, except if you want the hard drive: that's not compatible.

How old is the PS2 Fat? Well, I got mine in 2001. And I got the Slim PS2 when it came out. I didn't even hear about one until they were in the stores, and there was a big flock to get them. Lucky me, I got one though. And I loves it so much! And the only reason I'm keeping the old ps2 around, is because my mom told me to. And it kinda has an old nostalgic value. Since, before then, the "newest" system I had was the SNES.
