Help with Nihilus UTC Files

By the time I face Nihilus i am at level 30 or above (What can i say, i like to destroy things) and the fight is over so quick. I downloaded a mod that made Atris up to the level i like. I tried looking for one for Nihilus. No dice, So i next looked at the Mod for Atris and how it was done. But when i tried looking up Nihius's UTC I found 4 of them! One has no number after the file and the others have numbers (3904, 4484, and 4644) I also found it was the same for the other Sith lords (Sion, Traya, and Reven?) Can some body help me sort this all out. or tell me where i can read up on the subject such as what the numbers mean.

Thanks

You will find multiples of many files in the game, as many files are re-used in the different modules of the game.

While you could edit a NPC's utc file in KOTOR I and plop it into override to make some changes, in TSL you cannot do this as much because OE re-used many of the game files between modules, and as such the game can get messed up when we place these files in override because though they have the same names they do different things, so in TSL we have to generally use scripting or other methods to make enemies tougher.

I might suggest a Mod like Achilles Game Rebalance Mod, I believe you will find the game to be more of a challenge, but not overwhelming. If you love self-abuse you can use Achilles Mod plus Beancounter's Hardcore Mod, then you can be in for a world of hurt! :xp:

As for learning about KOTOR and TSL modding, you can browse the many Tutorials we have in the locked forums you see above... there is much reading, but that is the information we have.

I hope this helps! :D

Also I Beefed up Nihilis as part ofUSM I think the characters I used during testing were around 25. I gave him several stat boosts, new feats and powers, so he should surprize you, however if you are useing many stat boosting modded items, he may again be easy.

You guys made him just right. He doesn't go down easy but I can still land hits on him. And you definately need all three party members to bring him down.
