DarthMuffin Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Oblivion looks awesome. Morrowind was excellent, but the real strength behind Elder Scrolls games is the editor, which lets you do pretty much anything. It's true that you will need a crazy computer to run it on maximum settings. One of the developper did say that he can run it on the computer with which he worked on Bloodmoon (2nd Morrowind expansion released in 2003, iirc). If you're into RPGs, it's worth it to upgrade your PC for this game. Anyway, newer games (NWN2, for example) will probably have similar requirements.
Katarn07 Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I want a 360. I like RPGs. I didn't like the openendedness to Morrowind. Unless they push me off in a direction to progress a story in this game right away, I ain't buying it. I'll definately try it either when it comes out or if I don't have a 360 by then, when I get that. Baldur's Gate (PC versions) and Knights of the Old Republic are much better RPGs in my opinion.

Morrowind did push you right away in the main storyline (the Blades quest). But I also think that BG and KotOR are better. Only thing that bugs me with DnD RPGs is the spell per day thing. Doesn't make any sense to me.
primalunderdog Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 I would wait till after the recall to get a 360.They are good but I would not take a chance with the overheating thing goin around.
