Admiral Odin
I once tried to do a jack knife(I think that's what the manuver is called) in a 737, on Flight Sim. I had the most realistic settings and it actually work. ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." (Sweet is war to those who have never experinced it.) Commander 598
Try doing it 50 feet off the ground. Try doing it 15 feet off the ground in an F22. ------------------ "Growing Older is Mandatory, Growing Up is Optional." milkshake
I'll do the manuver in an F22, you've just got to tell me how to perform it and then wait 2 and a half weeks for me to get back home, or you could just tell me and I'd try it in a World War 2 Fighter ------------------ Self proclaimed Forum Drunk milkshake@milkshake.co.uk I Rock (English for I have an Ego the size of a small country, like Luxumboug, or Vietnam)
Nute Gunray
I've probably already done it. I'm the hottest F-22 pilot on this forum. And I'm willing to prove it. ------------------ I have a life, but I feel mostly dead.
Rogue Nine
I've not played a flight sim in a while, but I'm a pretty fair pilot. Just gimme an F-14D or an F-15E.

Taarkin
When I get a semi-decent computer I swear I'll get a flight sim. I prefer WW II era over cheesy oh, I don't know, F22s ------------------ Was I supposed to eat the heads too? 'Cause I took nooo prisioners! Jem
If one of those A380 happen to crash it means more than 600 people will die just like that... ------------------ I don't fear death because if It happens to me I won't have to worry about it. Jem
Taarkin, If you want the best WW II flight sim then get: "Jane's WW II Fighters" and I also prefer WW II era over cheesy oh, I don't know, F22s ------------------ I don't fear death because if It happens to me I won't have to worry about it. Nute Gunray
I am the best F-22 pilot here. I'm like Kinnison is in an X-Wing. Also excellent in the F-16, MiG-29, and Me 262 (I'm "trained" as an bomber interceptor in the 262, so I lack against fighters) ------------------ I have a life, but I feel mostly dead. Guest Thrawn
The WWII era is more classy to me. Dog fights seem more "personal". ------------------ "Noobies Suck" ThRaWn90,RAL_Thrawn,SOB_Thrawn Rogue
Taarkin
Certainly moreso than simply pointing yourself in the general direction of an enemy and shooting him down with a missile from a kajillion miles away. ------------------ Was I supposed to eat the heads too? Admiral Odin
The manuver that I was refering to is this: You fly straight up, untill you stall. Then turning left or right, so the nose of the plane faces the ground, after reaching overspeed you pull up into a loop and come out of the manuever. Like I said before I don't know if jack knife is the proper name. favorite plane has to be the P-51 Mustang. ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." Nitro
The move you guys are referring to as the 'jackknife' is really called a "Hammerhead Turn" ------------------ *Joker, to the helicopter gunner* "How can you shoot women, and children?" Nute Gunray
Too bad they don't make a flight sim that you can pull off the coolest looking move: the Cobra. Crude graphic coming soon. I saw MiG-29s doing it once...l33t PS--I just remembered one of the Sukhois can snap so far back they become inverted, but still traveling forward and upward and fire a missile behind themselves. ------------------ I have a life, but I feel mostly dead. Commander 598
I've got the F-22 Lightning II Demo.Whenever I point the nose up I just go up and almost stay up. Once I ran outta fuel at the highest altitude possible and it took me about 20 minutes with the air-brake on just to get past the clouds. I like just falling... ------------------ "Growing Older is Mandatory, Growing Up is Optional." Official XWA Insane Newtype
