Xyvik
For some terrible reason I completely forgot about these forums! Time to remedy that horrible mistake. Greetings, one and all, and allow me to introduce The Sith War, a Total Conversion for Empire at War! TSW Focuses on the time period before KOTOR, in the era of the Sith incursion a few decades after the Great Hyperspace War. The story of TSW is completely original in addition to having no bearing on actual Star Wars history, which allows us a little leeway in the telling of the tale of the Sith attack on the Galaxy. The Sith War features three completely unique sides, the Sith Empire, the Republic, and the Mandalorian Clans. Each side focuses on a different strategic basis and will cater to different tactical approaches. We are low on manpower so things are always slow, but here is our latest render, that of the Sith Arcane Station: Check out our site at The Sith War! Foshjedi2004
Nice to see that the Sith Wars are still alive and well Xyvik. Keep up the good work....By the way I have a proposition for you.....
Xyvik
Nope, we're not dead yet...we were just sleeping. Sith War goes through several periods like this, with mass production of models for a period of time and then...silence for an equal or usually longer time. We're moving forward now, though. Foshjedi2004
For those who don't know the Sith War read this: The Sith War is a Total Conversion for the PC Real Time Strategy game Star Wars: Empire At War, aiming to bring to life epic infantry and Jedi battles in an era of Star Wars made famous by the recent Knights of the Old Republic, the time long before the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire. With an independant storyline and proposed campaign, three completely unique sides, and giant battles, The Sith War will bring alive the destructive times when the Dark Side reigned supreme! At the core of The Sith War is a heightened focus on infantry and their roles in battle. Gone are the "only four types of infantry and rarely more" days of early RTS games. Instead, the Mandalorian Clans alone have six different infantry types, the Sith have eight, and the Republic a sheer eleven different types of infantry! Each infantry unit is specially tailored to fill a role for that particular side that is both unique and vital. More often than not, a player will find themselves using all the infantry at their disposal in order to gain the most complete victory. While the infantry are a diverse and important part of the gameplay, so are the vehicles. Aircraft will play a vital role in the carrying out of missions and tactics to suplement the powerful ground vehicles that will come into play. From the weak-yet-quick Republic Police Skiff to the Turbolaser-on-wheels Mandalorian Stormer, every unit has a place and a purpose. vader815
I'm glad to see that the Sith Wars will be relived, but I have one question. Is this the sith war with Revan and the Republic or is this that Thousand year Sith War. (I think it was a thousand years)
popcorn2008
yeah um what is the star wars warlords it looks like its a vedio game Star Wars warlords is a modification for Homeworld 2, much like Counter Strike Source is. I just did a quick google search to find out. Anyways on topic, I will definetely keep my eye on this mod. Ancient star wars history is an intereasting topic and I would like to see how you guys interpret it.
Xyvik
My interpretations are always interesting and almost always quite insane. Oh, and very pro-Dark Side but I will make sure the hypocrital Jedi/Republic get their winning too, they just have to play the Republic campaign seperately. And, if I could ever arrange it, make it so they have to play the REAL campaign, that of the Sith, before they could try an alternative ending. One of which is the reign of the Mandalorians, too, who are also very cool. Anyway, I digress. Glad you've got your eye on our humble endeavor, and I hope we don't disappoint you!
