HELP with Smugglers moon

Been through the bar, across the walk ways, jumped on the the balcony, gone up the ramps and jumped of the top of the second ramp to the walk way around the hexagonal building below.

 

How do you get passed here? The 'walkthrough' says there is a button to extend the bridge and get into the next building. Presumably the button is inside the the hexagonal building but how the hell do you get in??

...iirc you can smash the glass on the top of the hexagonal building and get in that way.
