Joshi
You need to pick the picture up and cut it up inside your inventory.

counting_pine
Are you playing the easy version or the hard version? I don't think you need either part of it in the easy version, just the nail.
dead kitty
easy. but i've looked up few walkthroughs and it said i had to use scissors to cut the picture for this one part. and something about a mirror behind the bartender and there isn't one behind him! Joshi
If you're playing the easy version you don't need to do any of that.
counting_pine
I suspect most walkthroughs are written for the hard version. Probably the average veteran CMI gamer would actually find the easy version a bit disorientating. Be it a puzzle you don't have to solve, an item that should be there but isn't, an item that shouldn't be there but is, or an area of importance that it won't let you click on. For example, the windmill. When trying to get to the sugar water at the top, I took out the umbrella and waved it over the windmill blades for a few seconds, before I realised, and sheepishly tried the door.
