and if I remember right a Neutron bombs radition disapates faster than a normal nukes confused.gif so what was your point Zargon, Nute if you could resolve this by telling us what the decay time for a neutron bombs radiation is i would appretiate it biggrin.gif

also called ENHANCED RADIATION WARHEAD, specialized type of small thermonuclear weapon that produces minimal blast and heat but which releases large amounts of lethal radiation. The neutron bomb delivers blast and heat effects that are confined to an area of only a few hundred yards in radius. But within a somewhat larger area it throws off a massive wave of neutron and gamma radiation, which can penetrate armour or several feet of earth. This radiation is extremely destructive to living tissue. Because of its short-range destructiveness and the absence of long-range effect, the neutron bomb would be highly effective against tank and infantry formations on the battlefield but would not endanger cities or other population centres only a few miles away. It can be carried in a Lance missile or delivered by an 8-inch (200-millimetre) howitzer, or possibly by attack aircraft.

this excerpt explains why Neutron Bombs don't have lingering Radiation...

The neutron bomb is a hydrogen bomb with a very very small fission primary (or maybe none at all) and no U-238 shell. Thus the energy comes almost exclusively from fusion, with no fission fragments. Thanks to this, there is no lingering radioactivity. However the neutrons emitted from the fusion reaction are effective at killing life, but do relatively little damage to buildings. The neutron bomb is made small so that damage from the fireball is limited to a small area. The bomb was intended to be used if Russia invaded West Germany. It would kill the invaders without destroying the country it was designed to save.

yeah i fixed that, an the research i read was from well, not any recent time, and they obviously did further reaserch, as we damn well should!

and sorry if my figures are a bit behind, I can only keep uo with so much seeing as I dont like reading much(unless it ha a really cool GUI with it wink.gif!

I'd like on e of those Lancer missles

I think it would be quite amusing to launch all our missiles(warheads removed) and launch them at China and Russia. "OH NO WE HAD A HORRIBLE ACCIDENTIAL LAUNCH! YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE!...Gotcha!"

Was I supposed to eat the heads too? 'Cause I took nooo prisioners!

There not even sure if most of the weapons DO actually work. So if we ever have it out like that, it WOULD be kinda funny to see all these warheads just crashing into the ground like so many radioactive meteors.
