Sabretooth
OK, I'll try to learn C++, or C# or whatever. Thx ppl!
toms
I don't really do programming anymore... I'd assumed C# was just the next itteration of c++. It seemed quite nice to programme in when i had two days of training in it... though i haven't used it since. Of course, the nicer a language is to programme the worse the performance.. so i probably should have guessed it wasn't as fast as c++.
txa1265
I don't do as much as I used to when I was doing more instrumental design, more just LabView, occasional VB, SAS and scripting... and while it is nice for bragging rights, I certainly don't miss tweaking assembly to do 'thunks' between 16 & 32-bit device drivers like I had to 10 years ago ... lassev
This is cool. I only had Visual Studio 6.0, and the need to upgrade is one reason why I haven't much thought about any programming lately. But if I can get decent editors for free, then the cost of upgrading certainly isn't an issue...
