Astrotoy7
Read the Thrawn Trilogy, by Timothy Zahn, and/or Outbound Flight by the same author Zahn... BOO !! TTT was fun in the early 90s. I am absolutely STUPEFIED that Zahn is still flogging this concept.... FFS !! What Zahn needs to do is get his geeky a$$ into gear and write a book about Mara Jade as the Emperors Hand. (Rumours have been circulating for years, but it is more fanboy speculation than anything else). Matt Stover turned EU upside down and inside out with "Traitor" NJO h4t3rz obviously didnt get that far into the series to appreciate its beauty... too bad !! Still you can get glimpses of Stovers brilliance in Shatterpoint(The Mace Novel) and ROTS Novelisation. James Luceno is a very close second, but is more of a storyteller than a character author (like Stover). Im *really* looking forward to reading SW: Dark Lord, continuing on Vaders story immediately after ROTS. I finally have it - but Im saving it to read on my hella long plane trip to Mexico later this year. lolz mtfbwya
