Ellderon
Well, I have a problem ehre The new armor I was making...I can't convert it..tried and doesn't work as advertised. Here's the deal - the armor was originaly just a re-texture of the normal Heavy Armor. However, I wanted to give a try at tweaking it a bit - just by moving vertexes a bit. I make it a bit bulkier, with broader shoulder, bigger chestplate and a back-power pack kinda thing. Now if someone out there who is realyl good with this sorta thing would look it over, I would be very thankfull. I have the 3Dmax scene and can send it to him. If you help with this, you'll of course get full credits. If you think you can further improve the armor while you're at it you're welecomed to try. T7nowhere
So... what's the problem? Is it not compileing? Is it turning into a Picasso? It's entirely possible that your problem can be solved here if you tell us what it is.
TheProphet
He said something to me a while ago about it not exporting to the game. TrashMan says: the problem is it's not exporting properly TrashMan says: I cna't export it TrashMan says: so I need someone who knows that stuff to look it over It's not that specific I know, but is there a common problem that comes in hand when exporting meshes? What I was thinking is that it may be because he doesnt have the originial mesh files in the folder with his newly compiled .mdl. That to me sounds like it could be the problem, but then I'm not the expert on this. -Gsccc
T7nowhere
Well, when ever you want to compile a body mesh you need the original binary model in the same folder as the exported ascii.mdl or it will not compile. the best thing to do is export the edited model to a new folder rename it then copy and paste the original model it the same folder then compile the ascii with mdlops.
