CapNColostomy
Those are called fans man. Fans. Might as well be excited or this huge internation competition would just be a waste of money. The weird part is that these "fans" stop using 'we' and 'us' when the team they're rooting for is losing. When they're winning, it's "we did it! Huzzah!" But when said team is losing, they quickly stop associating themselves with the team and start using terms like 'they' and 'them'. Oh, and it is a waste of money, excitement or not. My sitting here and typing this out is a waste of money, for that matter.

Dagobahn Eagle
I only have two words that describes my feelings after Sweden won us in hockey: **** Sweden **** you, managing to lose to Swedes, of all people:D! First time in so long Norway manages to get completely and utterly pwn3d in winter sports. Oh well, it was due time for someone else to win. You should've seen the bad losers here, though. Debate programs dedicated air time to discuss what was wrong with our athletes, certain idiots called the defeat a "crisis", and so on and so forth. Oh, and it is a waste of money, excitement or not. My sitting here and typing this out is a waste of money, for that matter. It's not a waste of money as it is an exercise in peace and tolerance. It's healthy, fair competition without hate or any of that crap (or at least it is for most people - some morons just don't get it and feel have to bring their racism, anti-Americanism, or [...]-ism into the arenas). South and North Korea competing together under one flag in that previous Olympics brought a tear to my eye. My favorite break-out state of Taiwan joining as "Chinese Taipei" more than irritated me, though:mad:.
