The Source
Ok i am kinda getting a hang of this modding thing but I am having trouble witht he conversations. How would I link a convo or a dialog.tlk file that I made? You are talking connecting dialogue to a character? If you open up a character .utc file with Fred's KotOR Tool, look at the bottom right corner of the first tab. You will find dialogue options, and one of the empty fields is what you want. I don't have the program with me, so I can't get into too much detail. What you do is, type the naming convention you used for the dialogue file into the field. That will connect the dialogue to the character. I hope I am making sense.
Elven6
Yea I figured that out but what about the actual convo file where does it go
Pavlos
Plonk the .dlg file in your override or - if it is not a global dialogue - it goes in your module file.
The Source
Yea I figured that out but what about the actual convo file where does it go If you are just making one character, I would only put them in the 'Override' folder. Dialogues and all.

rgdelta
Also if you are doing this in TSL on the char's UTC file go to scripts and make sure the script k_def_dialogue01 is listed under OnDialogue.
Elven6
I tired that but it still dosent work, mabye you can give me what is inside the k_def_dialouge01 file, go to edit or w/e and copy the script that should be their to initiate it if you can.
