HELP.How can i turn down the saber sparks on JA+ 2.4 mod

Hi all.

 

I'm new to this forum but really hope you can help me.

 

I recently installed the Mod v2.4 into Jedi Knight Jedi Academy.

 

Seems that the graphics have been increased now to show sparks and bright lights when the saber comes into contact with another during combat.

 

I was wondering if there was any possible way to turn off or down the sparking as it makes it almost impossible to see your opponents at times.

 

If any of you fellow Jedi's can help me It would be much appreciated.

You need to be more specific. Is it JA+ 2.4 you mean?

inside japlus folder from your gamedata installatioin

you will find a efx_MOD.pk3 file...

 

it contains both saber effects and force effect...

If you don't like them simply remove this pk3 from your installation...

 

if you just don't like saber effets

just open, this efx_MOD.pk3 file with winzip or winrar or any other archive programm based on the ZIP format and delete the saber folder inside this efx_MOD.pk3 ZIP archive....(a pk3 is just a ZIP file renamed into pk3)
