Darth InSidious
My dreams tend towards connected sets of illogical events. Such as building the great pyramid with R2-D2's on the Giza plain in the afternoon, out of metallic blocks... ...Or a plane turning into a bus and crashing into a fence, which then causes a flower stall nowhere near it to explode and a woman in a white dress near it to scream. REDJOHNNYMIKE
@Sabretooth, It's entirely possible in your case, even though it sounds like you were watching too much adult swim and eating spoiled food:lol: But seriously, if you didn't make it up, it sounds rather detailed. Does anyone else get those nasty ones where it's just like normal everyday stuff, but as soon as something cool happens you wake up? Like dreaming your working all morning and then finally get to that cheeseburger and then POOF! Ditto for pretty much anything else you want for more than 3 seconds;) Have you ever been in a dreamstate with the subject being one of those epic fantasy story things, and realize that you can remember previous similar dreams and apply aspects of those to your current situation, and slowly build an entire storyline? @Jae, Of course you've never seen it, in "this reality" that would be stupid, but if this isn't real and that is.... And are you sure "talking" is the appropriate verb for what they were doing with said plants? @Jackel, I don't know, which one is? @jmac+liayd, It's only proof if Descartes' statement is true, or if it is true, then "I think not" could be the ultimate form of suicide, the reason you don't vanish is that your mind subconsciously knows this and locks your thoughts from thinking it, while allowing your thoughts to think that you are in fact thinking it, when you're really not, to preserve the illusion and prevent you from exploring the subject further and killing yourself, a defense mechanism of sorts;) @DI, Is she alright? Descartes didn't imply that he had power over his existence because he thought. Likewise he doesn't imply that he has power over his non-existence by "thinking not". He only meant that because he was thinking, he must therefore be existing first.

I don't get Adult Swim here and I don't have any spoiled food. And the dream was there. I was probably lucid dreaming, but I don't know, it was all in a sequence. When I got up, it was almost like that's the next part of the dream, but it wasn't.
REDJOHNNYMIKE
@TK, Well, of course that's probably what he was implying, but he left it vague and loopholey:D The fact that because he was thinking, he must have existed first, makes sense, unless he doesn't exist and he and his thoughts were imagined by others. Jeremia Skywalk
What i think is tyhat some of you have watched Matrix too many times, there are hundreds of things proving that dreams aint reality, why u cant feel pain in dream? why you dont feel pain after waking up if u injured something dreaming? how can you make things you want happen? Darth InSidious
@DI, Is she alright? Physically, yes, mentally, who knows? The explosion is very like a stock SFX one, and the flowers on the stall are unharmed...It's at that point that the dream ends...
