Finding Dustil quest

I was accidentally mean to Carth and now I can't get him to talk about his wife and son. I'm on Korriban, haven't talked to Jordo, and Dustil won't spawn. How do I use KSE or KT to spawn Dustil and continue the romance storyline?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off, this is in the wrong forum. You should post it in the Padawan's Lounge.

 

Second you can't use KT to fix it, as far as I know. And as KotOR has no influence system, I don't think KSE will help earlier. AFAIK, you should still be able to find out about his wife and son no matter what you've said to him... I don't know what the problem could be.

You actually have to play around with the globals within KSE to try to change Carth's banter. However because alot of the banter is driven by how many starmaps you have found it makes it even more tricky. Best bet go back to an earlier save or start a new game to avoid messing up related banters and everything else.

The long way (but gives you the dialog with Carth and Jordo):

 

Set:

K_SWG_CARTH = 7

K_SWG_CARTH_LEVEL to number less than your PC's experience level.

 

and confirm that you have found the 2nd star map already.

 

Now you can talk to Carth with the dialog option "Tell me why you want revenge on Saul so badly." This eventually leads to "So what happened to your son? You didn't say."

 

After this, you'll need to take Carth with you to a planet other than Korriban and find Jordo then you can head to Korriban.

 

The short cut:

Just set KOR_DANEL = 2

 

I think thread actually belongs in Holowan Laboratories because it does involve modding a game, not just getting stuck in the plot somewhere (Padawan's Lounge), and it doesn't concern the use of a specific modding tool (T3M4's Astromech Droid Center).
