I won't tell it's a Athlon 1.4 GH with 256 MB DDR SDRAM + GeForce2 32 MB GTS on a ASUS A7M266 mainboard and a 40 GB HD (7200 rpm) because it'll make some of you jealous and I would like to avoid that. I would not a have purchased a computer with 256 megs of ram and a 32 meg GeForce 2 at this time. i feel my p3 733, 128 ram (adding 256 to that soon), 20 gig HD, and 64 meg GeForce 2 MX are significantly underpowered. (To tell the truth, I was thinking the same thing about the video card, though.) I've had an Athlon 650 for quite a while now, and have no reason to upgrade. Athlon T-B 1200Mhz 256 Megs SDRAM (planning to upgrade to 768 in the near future) 60 Gig HDD, 7200rpm GF2 Ultra etc, etc, etc.... I was thinking of getting a GF3, but has anyone else noticed that it's base processor is actually less powerful that the GF2 Ultra's? Anyway, it wouldn't be an improvement worth the money, and I've yet to see a game (or any program) that uses the GF3s new shader techs/whatever.
