Installed Map Question

When I choose installed maps on the Instant Action map list, it shows odd names for them. For example, Battle over Coruscant shows up as BOC followed by some strange symbols. Any ideas?

 

And yes, this is for every map.

 

EDIT: I also seem to be having errors with custom units. Here's a screenshot that's pretty much self-explanatory

When I do that it says my BF2 is already up to date.

Are they in folders? Are all the files that were in the zip/rar in the folder? That might be the problem. Also, do the folders have the same three letter name as the files inside them?
