The Seeker
For me the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is so addictive, I'm surprised it isn't illegal. That series has stolen more consecutive hours from my life than the best video game. Other favorites are Michael A. Stackpole (though I think his writing peaked with The Dark Glory War), Kristine Kathryn Rusch's Fey series For the past few months I was reading Orson Scott Card's Ender Series. Talk about a brain filler. After I finished that, I decided to give heavy books a break and read a no brainer. Thus, my current book is Dark Lord: The rise of Darth Vader by James Luceno. Not bad so far, but not exactly mind blowing. Still a pretty decent read that has kept me interested.
Darth InSidious
Can't remember if anyone mentioned it, but The City And The Stars by Arthur C. Clarke is an excellent book.
Cygnus Q'ol
Can't remember if anyone mentioned it, but The City And The Stars by Arthur C. Clarke is an excellent book. Almost everything by Clarke is awesome. I'm a huge fan. Have you absorbed "Rendezvous with Rama"? One of my personal favs. Notables: The Hammer of God, and of course, 2001: a Space Odyssey. Oh yeah, 3001, The Final Odyssey, was absolutely mindblowing.
