ChrisC3po Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I thought I'd share some initial thoughts on the LucasArts booth (more later). It is obvious that LucasArts is betting Indy will be a huge game. That was clearly the focus of the booth this year, with Lego Star Wars II coming in second. Indy really did look amazing, the physics engine is just incredible. And although I wasn't expecting to care for Lego Star Wars it was just so funny I think I may have to pick it up. Overall the booth did feel a little bare of major titles for this year though. The expansion pack for Empire at War looked great, and I can't wait to try out the new units. But there wasn't any major release scheduled for this year that LucasArts was showing.
The Source Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 The Indy game does look cool. I wonder if it will hint at the upcoming movie. Nice report.
Jeff Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 The Indy game does look cool. I wonder if it will hint at the upcoming movie. That's what I was wondering about, whether it will tie in to that at all, or be a totally independent game. Either way it looks awesome
Commander Obi-Wan Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Definitely, looks cool, and we'll see if it leads into a movie...
Darth Exile Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I was watching an interview with a LucasArts executive and he said the game is a stand alone game nothing to do with the movie.
