Niner_777
When I click on the "log out" button it says "Are you sure you want to log out" in a window. I click "OK" and it brings me to a page that says "All cookies cleared!" Then it gives me two options of where to go. When I click on one of them it takes me to another part of LucasForums, like usual. However, when I get there, I'm still logged on. I'm not sure whats wrong. Can anybody help me? Thrik
No idea what's going on for you. The only thing I can think of is that there's some kind of issue with JavaScript on your system, as it works fine for me. Try logging out via the link on the front page. It uses a slightly different piece of code to do the job, free of JavaScript; if it works, the problem could indeed lie within JavaScript.
Niner_777
Thanks for the help. I tried both of your ideas, but I'm still logged on. I think that this started when I was already logged on. I clicked on something and it asked me to log on again. I did. Could this have anything to do with it?
Thrik
It could be some kind of cookie problem, based on what you just said. Perhaps your computer/browser is somehow not letting the cookie be deleted, or there's a duplicate that is being ignored. The best way to find out would be to just delete all of your cookies. This will mean that you'll need to log in with all your usual haunts again, but it should slaughter any and all problems of this kind. Also, be aware that browsers treat cookies set on lucasforums.com and www.lucasforums.com as two separate sites, so try logging out on both 'versions' to see if it helps. http://lucasforums.com/ http://www.lucasforums.com/ We should probably set up a htaccess that enforces the www really, though that'll probably simultaneously log out at least 50% of the forum. Niner_777
Nice thinking. I logged out!!! Then I logged back on, lol. Thanks for the help. If it happens again, I'll know what to do, hopefully.
Thrik
Which one was it? The www. problem or the cookies? Just so I know for future reference.
Niner_777
I think that it was the cookies. Thanks again.
