The Source
I am going to carbon-date myself, but oh well... Did anyone ever get Star Wars: The Original cut on records. They had a version on record, which the listener would read along. Ignore the fact that I linked a blog site, for I am only trying to show you the pictures. Star Wars : Return of The Jedi : Read Along http://checkthecoolwax.blogspot.com/2006/02/star-wars-return-of-jedi-read-along.html Star Wars : Empire Strikes Back : Read Along http://checkthecoolwax.blogspot.com/2006/02/star-wars-empire-strikes-back-read.html Star Wars : A New Hope: Read Along http://checkthecoolwax.blogspot.com/2006/02/star-wars-new-hope-read-along.html Nostelgic... All the way... Hehehe... The days when Han shot first. The days when the Ewoks danced and sang, and Shaw was the force ghosts at the end of ROTJ. Hehehe... What do you remember having as a kid, which came from seeing the 'Original Cut' of Episode Iv-VI?
Mace MacLeod
I don't remember the read-alongs, but my dad did have Star Wars on record. I still remember being freaked out by Princess Leia's interrogation by Darth Vader and the torture droid, which didn't make the movie cut.
Jae Onasi
We had the full set of Burger King Star Wars posters hanging in the basement of the house I grew up in for something like 10 years. I think I still have the RotJ Burger King drinking glasses, too. I didn't get the read-alongs, but I do have all 3 of the movies' music on LP. I have some of the toys (Yoda of course), a set of RotJ topps cards and some posters, and all this stuff has somehow made it through 7 or 8 cross country moves.
