I'd be depressed and upset, but LucasArts have some of the best graphic adventure games around, I reckon once MI does come to an end they'll have some other great games, but I'm always gonna have a soft spot for Monkey Island

Actually, i would be happy if they only made one more game. AFter reading all the saps on this, and other fan sites, carp the games for the slightest new thing, and for not being as good as the others, i wouldn't blame them for stoping them. I say they go back to making new, and halarious endings. All i ask is that the first thing Guybrush says to Lechuck in the next/last? game is "please don't kill me" and that the ending will give you a choice of the 5 funniest lines in the game (ala SMI. AN interactive ending is the best. but still, EMI was 3X better than CMI.

I think it would be sad to see Monkey Island go, but it is something that must be done. It's kind of like Seinfeld. You want it to end going out on top. So if MI5 is going to be the last Monkey Island game, it better be darn good!

 

Also, I'd like to see LucasArts take their time with it and release it in 2003-2004.
