Aayla Offee
Everytime I try to load a game - the loading bar freezes up at about 1/3 of the way, and then I have to do 'control-alt-delete' and end the program. I just downloaded a few mods- but that shouldn't affect it.... it's getting REALLY annoying! Because I can't play anything- Can anybody help me with this? Has this happened to any one else? Thanks! Yoda121
You can try disable cutscenes, download the official patch , add Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 under [Graphic Options] in swkotor2.ini file. Download drivers of your graphic chipset ( nVidia , ATI or VIA websites ). Look at your CD and check if it is no striped...
Darth InSidious
I'm also having this problem, and my discs are fine... It just started happening for no apparent reason at all... You can load Autosaves or start a new game, but that's it.

Darth333
Please post your specs as indicated in this sticky thread: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=146050 Was the game doing this before you installed the mods? If not, which mods did you installed? (please provide links)
Lomall
Are you using an nVidia video card with the 8x.xx drivers. They have been known to cause some trouble with KotOR 2. Since both games use the same engine it may happen with KotOR 1 as well. nVidia drivers 9x.xx seem to fix the problem.
Aayla Offee
The problem is gone now- I just had to restart my computer- but I did disengage NERO, and that helped as well!
