RaV™
Rainbow Six: LV Everything I have seen and read on this game looks great, interesting story indepth multiplayer. Though this is not the reason why I made this thread, I can praise it in a future time when I actually play it. Though what I am posting about is that Ubisoft is not allowed to use the casinos and actual landmarks in the game, due to the thoughts of "terrorism." What's your take on Ubisoft not being allowed to use the Casino's names and buildings for the game set in sin city? In my opinion I really think Ubisoft should be able to use the Las Vegas buildings and landmarks, because it's only a game. It's not going to promote terrorism in any shape or form. Another reason why I made this thread was to ask what is Rainbow Six' real life counterpart? Just a mix of special operations and SWAT?
swphreak
I'm actually interested in the game, and can't wait til it comes out for the 360. If I hadn't played GRAW, I probably would have totally blown off RB6:LV. As for the Las Vegas trademarks, that's their call. Personally, I think they're missing out on a perfect opportunity for free advertising, but Ubisoft will do fine without. They can just put in shiny lights and "BOOBS" and "JACKPOT" and a random cowboy looking sign somewhere. It's no big deal, all that happens now is the Las Vegas people make themselves look stupid. RaV™
Yes I agree. Even without the true Las Vegas skyline they're able to make things to their own accordance like the blue prints of every building. Plus the unreal system being used for Rainbow Six is too 'unreal.' By GRAW you mean Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter? I plan to play that game soon, becuase I enjoy urban combat over fighting in a dense jungle. Though I read Mexico City is basically a ghost town through out the game..
Maverick5770
I'm loking forward to this one too, I think they should allow the real buildings and landmarks, after all, they named it Las Vegas. I believe that there is an actual anti terrorism unit in use/being formed, but I'm not entirely sure.Don't quote me on that.
RaV™
I really wonder if there is a spec ops unit that can clear out a huge amount of enemies without being overwhelmed and incapitated or killed.

RaV™
IGN Rainbow Six: Vegas Gamespot: Rainbow Six Vegas Check out the videos from both sites, the multiplayer will be great with how indepth the customization has been projected. Honestly I have been influenced to engage in a career of Military/SWAT involvement. Although it'll be a hard road and it will take dedication and time.. RaV™
Yes I heard Lockdown was a total peice of garbage, I haven't played it because of what I read. Is it the usual of every single Rainbow game? Terminate all terrorists?

Is it the usual of every single Rainbow game? Terminate all terrorists? Raven Shield started the downward spirial. Lockdown finished it. No Planning Stage, A single team of four instead of a team of six with two 3 member groups or better yet 3 two member groups. It was made for the ADHD button mashing console kiddies. A fast paced FPS instead of a good slow paced Tactical Shooter.
