Chenchi
Okay.....here is my ordeal....I lent out my game to a friend before I put it on my new computer.....he lost the key....and now I dont have a key... Can anyone help me out by referring me to a place where to get one....or maybe give me one of theirs...its not really an online game so should it be all that illegal? And I know that the key might be unique to the game, but isn't it worth a shot? So could someone please just let me try?
Char Ell
1) I believe forum rules prohibit any form of software piracy. Giving someone a software key would constitute a violation of the game's EULA. 2) You never say what game you need the key for (not that I would provide you the key for it in any case). 3) If your friend is honest and true your friend should buy you another game if he/she has effectively rendered you unable to play the game you purchased. But welcome to LucasForums anyway!
SITHSLAYER133
hmmmmmmm asking for a key where the Admins are sensitive about anything that breaks copy protection is kinda of pointless but hey as the the above post says hi i also say hi to the LFs
ChAiNz.2da
Well, I can't really add anything that wasn't already nicely said by cutmeister & SITHSLAYER133 Welcome to the forums Chenchi! For future reference however, any discussion on piracy, keys, warez or hacking/distributing .ini, .exe or any parts thereof of the game is an automatic thread closure. I realize that perhaps this isn't your situation, but there aren't any loopholes we can take for one thread and not apply it to others. Sorry.
