SithRevan
Hey guys I am having trouble with an armor that just does not seem to want to be fully visable, first I thought it was the TXI file that I had forgotten to put in. So I put the TXI file in with is and low-and-behold it still did not work, so what I am asking is for some help with this because I am a when it comes to alpha channels and whatever goes along with them. So thanks for any help you guys can give me. Here is a link to a pic of the armor: Picture If you look closley at the body you can see it's transparent. T7nowhere
Make sure that the .txi is exactly the same name as the .tga. Also make sure that your using CM_Baremetal as the shader.

SithRevan
Well it actually it doesn't really matter now as I have gotten the armor fully visable. So thanks T7 I really appreciate your help!
lactose_
I actually encountered a similar problem. I had Bastila wear some shiny clothing, and with the .txi files she worked fine, even though her envmap in appearance.2da was set to "DEFAULT". Then one day she just decided to go semi-transparent on me, and for no good reason too! I had left the .txi files completely alone, and I don't believe I edited any entry of hers in appearance.2da so I don't know what the problem is. Anybody got a clue? T7nowhere
^^ Are you certain that what you saw as shiny was really comming from Bastila's texture, I had one instance where I was testing a skin I made for Carth on Manaan and it look like the buckel that I wanted to be shiny was, until I went to another area an realized that what I saw was the shiny walls behind him. lol the buckle was completely transparent. I had to edit the envmap column in appearance then it worked fine. There are times though when you can get away without editing the appearance but thats only when you override an original game texture.
lactose_
^^ Oh, it was definitely cm_baremetal shiny, no doubt about it. And that's the funny thing, because it worked for a while, then it stopped. I've heard some people have the same problem too, although nobody's been able to confirm it.
