tbl
Probably would of noticed this. When your having the conversation with Kreia at the end and she is telling you your options, she mentions that if you choose you to take one of the ships orbiting Malachor. Why would you need to do this? unless your companions didn't arrive with you and they had the Ebon Hawk, just like in the original ending
Emperor Devon
Who knows. Maybe she thought the Hawk was gone for good. It does sound better than "You may take the Ebon Hawk and depart from this place", though.

Doesn't she also mention waiting for your companions to come get you.
Mace MacLeod
There was a lot of cut content at the ending, such as confrontations between various party members, your PC and Kreia, and it all wound up on the digital cutting room floor. The conversation was obviously thrown together at the last moment, so it's really not surprising there are logical holes in it IMHO.
tbl
We know that there is a lot of cut content. The argument is that Obsidian did it because they want to. If they did, there wouldn't be all those leaps of logic.
