Cant find games dir

Well this time through I want to play with cheats. I guess its okay since I've already beaten this game at least 5 times. But where is the game dir?

I think it defaults to c:\programs\lucasarts\

 

It's probably where it is, if you didn't choose another location when installing the game.

 

Otherwise, click the start menu, place the pointer over 'all programs', find the game, then the "play game" option (or whatever it's called), but don't click it it - just let the pointer stay there, and a little window should pop up with the location of where the file is placed.

Thanks but aaa...well im not that old so i dont know much about the computer it said c:\programs\LucasArts\SWKotOR or something like that so now what??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

So I assume you're basically asking how to enable cheats?

 

 

You're in the SWKotOR folder, right?

 

Find the file called "swkotor.ini"

 

Open it, and find the "[Game Options]" section.

 

Go to the bottom of that section, below "Disable Movies=0", and put "EnableCheats=1". That area should look like this now:

 

Disable Movies=0
EnableCheats=1

[Movies Shown]

 

Save the file and then you should be able to use cheats in game.

Edit: well i went to search at the "start" menu and typed in swkotor.ini but it said no results.

Don't bother with searches. Just go back to the SWKotOR folder and click on it. If you have the game installed, it'll be there.

Edit: SWEET I THINK I FOUNDIT BUT THERE IS NO Disable Movies=0 but all the rest is okay is this the right one?

 

Edit2: Ok ive modified the dir but what do i do now?? While in the game i press ' but nothing happens and the game console doesnt come what did i do wrong??

The console is invisible. Just type your command in very carefully and press enter.

Save it to your desktop, and then copy and paste that one into the old one and it'll replace it.
