Worth buying now?

Im posting here with a question. Is this game worth getting

now and days. Has any recent patches ,mods come out that

improved on any problems the game had? Any nice maps that

editors made that improved gameplay?

Battlefront 1 for PS2 is BETTER then Battlefront 2.

If you're going to buy either, get it on the PC. The multiplayer and mods give it alot more replayablilty.

I envy all you pc users, my windows ME would probly explode if I tried to install BF 2 on it. But I'm getting a new pc next year and definatley BF 2 for it.

 

BF 1 is better, so many little features that make it better than BF 2 like orbital strike , lying prone , better weapons.

yea bf1 is the best i like the mortar launcher but its not in bf2

It is kind of in BF 2 , the CIS magnaguard has a radiation launcher that fires green grenades. The wookie warrior also has the grenade launcher which is pretty close to the mortar launcher. And just to prove you wrong , the imperial officer has the mortar launcher.

Because essentially it's better in some ways, and in others it isn't.

Initially i didn't liek SWB2, mainly because I'd played SWB1 for so long, but it grew on me. I still think the feel of number 1 is better though.
