Update won't work

I just got BF and decided to update and when I open the 1.2 patch it tells me that BF isn't found.

 

I downloaded 1.3 and it told me that I needed to update 1.2...logically I download and try but apparently BF isn't installed... when it really is...and I can play it.

Have you installed it to a non-automatic location? (ie not C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront)

Other than that, I can't see why it wouldn't see it? //shrugs

I have experienced the same problem with downloading patches. Sir Phobos, would you happen to be using the Best of PC version of Battlefront?

Unless the BoPCP BF1 is different from the other games that come with it, it should be updated already. This might not be right, I didnt install the BF1 that came with the pack since I already own it.

If you have the Battlefront I game from the Best of PC pack, the game should already be updated.

 

I had the same problem with Knights of the Old Republic. You just have to re-install it.

Thanks for the help. I remember that I could only join 2 servers on the list which made me think that it had to be updated. I actually uninstalled this game about a month ago so we won't know definitively...but I'm almost positive that many of the servers out there were greyed out.

 

Perhaps those servers don't use the latest version...I dunno.

 

You guys should have replied three months sooner!
