is it possible to play as master vander and/or retexture to look like yoda

ive always wondered since i got kotor and started downloading mods if it was possible to turn master vander green and make him join your party in place of t3 or juhani perhaps if you kill juhani on dantoine then there is a extra conversation option when he is telling u to find the star forge the option could be "master I am worried I think i need a jedi with more experience to acompany me" the reply would be "ah yes agree with you i do acompany you i shall" booom master vandar in juhanis space on the ebon hawk and in character selection has this been done if not can someone do it for me plz

well look up any yoda mod for kotor 1 (most likely the glove will work) to change his skin

 

as for the party join, well i have no clue

There is a mod out there to recruit a yoda look-alike, but there aren't any sound files associated with the dialog; and unfortunately the smaller models (like Vandar, the Jawas, etc) have no combat animations.

Incorrect the Vandar model does indeed have combat animations with a single saber if I recall correctly.

 

Achilles would know about this as he made a recruit mod for K1 that used this model.

^Yes, he does have single-sabre anims. Unfortunately, even the short sabre is too short for him

could you not just change the animation of a shortsaber to normal for him

 

im not sure if it can be done but it sounds reasonable enough

I'm pretty sure it's hardcoded GF, the combat animations that is..... but it may be able to be done

I have used that mod before, and I could have sworn that the combat animations weren't there. Guess I need to go back and replay K1 with it again.

The Vandar model does have single bladed lightsaber combat animations. He even has the Power Attack animation and the Force Jump animation is available. He doesn't have Critical Strike and Flurry animations.

 

My suggestion is not to use the flurry and critical strike attacks if you don't want the Vandar model to look like he's frozen in carbonite.
