Darth InSidious
Oh, I just meant that particular version of the coat of arms, DI, not the creation of the title. All the heraldry I know is limited to a. what I learned in Medieval history and b. what I learned about heraldry in a history re-enactment group (which actually does research things in Fox-Davies and Burke, among a number of other sources). While I know the difference between gules and argent and my dexter from my sinister, I'm not an expert and don't even play one on TV. LOL, I know the feeling...My knowledge is far more limited... You might appreciate the humor in this blazon that a friend of mine had done for a badge: Sable semy of hangman's nooses argent Sorry, not really awake yet...semy? Jae Onasi
"Semy: or Semee; both mean that the area described is covered with strewn charges. Semee of mullets, therefore, would mean that there are an arbitrary number (but probably more than 6, where practical) number of star-shapes scattered about, in no particular arrangement." In our group, unless otherwise specified, the default number of semy charges is 10. And it would probably help if I told you the guy who registered it was named 'Sir Finn'. It's bad, I know.
